Apple's Macbook laptop line is going to be getting some big changes for this year's release as per reports. One recent news, however, provided credible info as it came directly from Apple's repositories.

One discovery made by a French site called Consomac indicated that the Macbook Pro 2016 will be getting a feature wherein users will be able to modify the function row within Pages. The discovered code directly from Apple's Pages application can be seen here.

However, as BGR reported, the leak did not show anything indicative of the OLED display that the Macbook Pro 2016 will be sporting. MacRumors had been religiously following the updates for the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016, but even they have not been able to confirm yet.

According to rumors as well, Apple's current Macbooks somewhat suffered through its fat design. This will make way for a thinner design and significantly lighter model.

A leak once revealed by Ming-Chi Kuo indicated that there will be metal-injection mould-made hinges that will make the Macbook Pro 2016 even more thinner.

Some rumors rounded up by The Week also hinted the laptop getting a new trackpad which supports Stylus even better than before. This was after the patents of the feature being discovered earlier this year.

The Apple Pencel was introduced last year and it could possibly be included with this year's MacBook Pro with the iPad Pro. The same feature may be included later on with its laptop counterpart.

As for the release date, consumers and fans anticipate the reveal of the MacBook Pro 2016 within the remaining months this year. However, no solid dates are confirmed yet. It was not present on Apple's hardware reveal earlier this year and still a no show on WDC last June.

Apple's next big event will be held on September 7, where the company is very likely to reveal its newest entry to its smartphone line of products, the iPhone 7. The MacBook Pro 2016 may soon follow after that.

With just three months before the year ends after the iPhone 7 announcement, hopefully fans see the MacBook Pro 2016 soon enough.
