Recent announcement from game company Bandai Namco Entertainment will be bringing a new DLC for "Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." The DLC is entitled "Road to Boruto" and will star the generation that follows Team 7.
Based from a report from Anime News Network, the "Road to Boruto" expansion will be released soon for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The expansion will be available in four different languages, namely, Japansese, English, Portuguese and Brazilian. There are also multiple subtitle for even more different languanges.
According to the report's source, Viz Media released "Boruto - Naruto The Movie," but only limiting it with English subtitles for those who want to watch it from outside of Japan. There was never an English dub for the movie and the game's English dub would be the first time fans may get to hear characters like Boruto to speak in English.
For those who haven't purchased the base game yet, "Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto" bundle is available. This includes every DLC content and the Boruto expansion, which is priced at $49.99. The Standalone DLC costs $19.99.
For fans looking to buy a physical copy of the expansion, the "Road to Boruto" physical disc is only available in Japan. Fans and collectors may need to import the game in this case. The physical release also happens to have a reversible box cover, which is perfect for collectors.
Save files from the original game can still be carried over to the new "Road to Boruto" expansion regardless if the game obtained will be a digital or a physical one. Playing the expansion requires the base game.
On top of the exclusive physical discs, the Japanese release will also include first-print limited edition soundtracks for the game and the expansion. These can be downloaded from February 2 up to March 1.
The expansion "Road to Boruto" gets an official release this coming February 3 for all countries and in all formats.
