The next Google Nexus smartphones are shaping up to be powerhouses and the figures are starting to speak out for themselves. It could even end up being the best smartphones around in terms of everything.
With Apple revealing the iPhone 7 and Samsung showcasing their explosive release of Galaxy Note 7, Google seems to be catching up as the next Nexus 2016 smartphones may be made available for public next month.
The next Google Nexus 2016 smartphones, namely Pixel (Sailfish) and Pixel XL (Marlin) will be the only smartphones that will utilize Snapdragon 821 in the US according to David Ruddock, Android Police's tweet.
It is also believed that both the Pixel models will have exclusive software that Google specifically tailor-made for the handsets. There are no specifics yet regarding the hardware specs, but given the initial leak about the processor, the rest of the hardware may fall in the same line of grade.
It is also highly-rumored that the Google Nexus will drop the "Nexus" name branding with the upcoming releases of the Pixel models. Instead, the Google logo or branding will be added in the rear part of the smartphones.
Speculations say that these Google smartphones will have a 7-inch screen with AMOLED qHD display, 4GB RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front snapper. Both are believed to be having the same 4K video recording capability.
The USB Type-C port is also expected with the handset as well as a more than decent battery capacity of 5,100mAh and finally, the latest Android OS, 7.0 Nougat.
While all these info are still plausible, Google will soon release further information at least before the year ends and consumers will find out more about the handsets if Google Nexus 2016 Pixel smartphones will be worth comparing and upgrading to from the recent releases.
