11 Bit Studios, the team behind "This War Of Mine" and the "Anomaly" series, is bringing fans and gamers another survival game in the form of "Frostpunk." Who would have thought that Steampunk can co-exist with extreme snowy conditions in a constant rate?

As shown in the teaser trailer above, "Frostpunk" will be a game set in a snow-covered world where steam-power will be the biggest source of life among people.

As Polygon reported, the game will be a survival game, which is pretty similar to the publisher's prior games like "This War Of Mine." Resource management will be a minor mechanic in the game and the decision-making feature takes the highlight.

"Frostpunk" will be a game where steam power is an extreme necessity for survival in the harsh cold eternal winter. The developer said that the game will feature "complex and demanding gameplay" that players will have to make decisions that will heavily affect others and the story's outcome.

Creative Director Michal Drozdowski stated that the game will be intended for more mature audience as the content.

"Looking back at This War of Mine, we're pushing boundaries even further, but we're not pointing at reality in the same fashion. We're putting human nature under a microscope to ask about what happens when people need to stay alive." he told Polygon.

"This War of Mine" was one of the first unique survival games that took resource management to a whole new level while introducing the in-depth story.

11 Bit's aim is to make "Frostpunk" an emotion-driven game, though we can't see of this yet on the latest teaser released by the publisher and developer.

The game is expected to be released in 2017 for Windows PC. No word for other platforms like how it was with "This War of Mine" so be sure to stay tuned for news and updates about "Frostpunk."
