To start with, the design of the Samsung Galaxy tab is thinner compared to the Apple iPad Pro. The overall build of both the tablets are well styled in order to provide an immersive experience that high-end products can provide.

In terms of display specs, the Galaxy Tab Pro S sports a 12-inch screen with Super AMOLED display panel with 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution. The Samsung device is also touted to provide the users with more vibrant colors and high contrast ratio. In terms of software specs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S runs on the Windows 10 operating system, which is touted to be more powerful and flexible than the Apple iPad Pro's iOS 9. On the other hand, the Tab Pro S consists of a 5-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera while, the Apple tablet features an 8-megapixel rear and a 1.2-megapixel front camera, also used for video conferencing.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S consists of a single USB Type-C port, for faster charging and data transfers whereas the Apple device sports a similar Lightning Connector port. The former tablet also features a clip-on keyboard along with a 3.5 x 1.7-inch trackpad whereas the latter device features a Smart Keyboard, but does not include a trackpad.

Besides, the 12.9-Inch Apple iPad Pro features a powerful 10,307mAh battery with 10 hours life span, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S has a 5,200mAh battery which can last for about 6 hours. In terms of price, the Tab Pro S is available at a price of $899 whereas the iPad Pro is priced at $949.
