With the iPad Air 3 specs rumors doing rounds; the latest reports hinted that the release date of the Apple tablet might be pushed back to early next year.
PC Advisor reported that the iPad Air 3 might be launched in March 2017 instead of the speculated November 2016 release date. Reports claimed that the possible delay in the launch of the device may be due to the recent iPad Pro 9.7-inch tablet.
Also, few reports also stated that the Cupertino-based company might even focus on releasing the next version of the iPad Pro tab codenamed as iPad Pro 12.9 instead of the next installment of the iPad Air series tablet.
Tab Times reported that the upcoming iPad Air 3 will be released next year with few specs similar to that of the latest iPad Pro 9.7. Reports claimed that the new Air tablet will sport an aluminum chassis and will be sleeker as compared to its predecessor.
Furthermore, the iPad Air tablet is expected to consist of the upcoming A10 chipset along with force-touch True Tone display similar to the iPad Pro 9.7. As far as the storage capacity is concerned, the new iPad Air 3 is expected to be made available in three variants of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
In terms of software, the upcoming Apple Air tablet will also feature the iOS 10, which is expected to provide the users with enhanced user interface. It is also rumored that the third installment of the iPad Air 3 will include the iPad Pro's stereo speakers for enhanced audio quality.
Rumors hinted that Apple will make the iPad Air 3 available at a price tag of $599 including the True Tone display. On the other hand, if the device does not feature the display specs, it is expected to be priced in the range $499 to $549.
However, there is no official confirmation from Apple about the release date or specs or price of the iPad Air 3. Keep posted here for more rumors and updates from the technology giant.
