Even after a no-show at the recent Apple's WWDC 2016 event, the rumors about the much-awaited iPad Air 3 device are still trending all over the Internet. The update on the Apple iPad Air 3 suggests that the device might consist of some exceptional specs and features and will be announced this year in fall.

Christian Daily reported that the iPad Air 3 will sport the new A10X processor with an upgraded 3 GB RAM. These specifications are expected to make the new device much more powerful than that of the iPad Pro tablet, which has an A9X processor with 2 GB RAM.

On the other hand, Ars Technica reported that the software updates that were launched by Apple during the WWDC 2016 event might also be incorporated in the iPad Air 3. The rumor reports suggest that the device will feature iOS 10 with the updated digital voice assistant, Siri.

Further, there are reports that the new iPad Air 3 will be made available in sleeker and portable design in order to keep up with the competition given by Apple's another flagship device, iPad Pro. MNR Daily reported that the performance aspects of the iPad Air 3 will also be enhanced to a great extent in order to make it equal to or more powerful than the Pro tablet.

Meanwhile, with all the speculations about the specs and features of the upcoming iPad Air 3, a few reports hinted towards the possibility that the device might be launched in September along with other Apple devices like iPhone 7 and MacBook Pro 2016.

Earlier, there were reports that Apple was planning to stop the production of the iPad Air series and concentrate more on the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro laptops.

The latest reports claimed that the company had planned to include the latest software updates in the iPad Air 3, announced during the WWDC 2016 event.
