Following a simple concept, Draw Something hit a big milestone on both Apple iTunes Store and Google Play Store. Earlier in April, the app was downloaded more than 50 million times in 50 days of its release. After getting acquired by Zynga, the popular game developer, an update was expected. And on Wednesday, the renowned game developer released an update bringing new features to the app including chatting capability, social network integration and much more.

Draw Something works on a simple concept. It needs two players to start the game where, in turns, players are given words for which they must draw a pictorial representation. The other player has to guess the correct word based on the drawing. If the guess is correct, both players are rewarded one to three coins based on the difficulty level and a winning streak starts. Initially, the streak limit was set to 99, but with recent update, the streak limit has been extended to 999.

The most significant addition to Draw Something is Undo function that allows user to rollback any error while drawing a picture by one step. But, it allows one-step rollback only. For doing more corrections, a player has to use the eraser tool. The update also brings a new pull-down menu with refreshed options. Users may also save the work in photo gallery.

After creating the masterpiece, you can share it on Facebook and Twitter by taking advantage of in-built social networking integration. Draw Something also allows player to attach short comments (maximum 100 characters) to a drawing, while the second player can respond to the message after entering a guess.

The update also allows sending the master-art via e-mail or you can set it as wallpaper on phone's screen.

Draw Something is originally a brain-child of OMGPOP. But after the app crossed Zynga's Words with Friends, a Pictionary-style game, in terms of popularity, Zynga decided to acquire it for $180 million in March 2012. According to Zynga, Draw Something players have made over 6 million drawing by the date, and 3,000 drawings are being created every second.

Pre-existing users just need to hook up with a Wi-Fi network and update the app to access the new features. The update is available in respective app stores.
