Another surprising death was hinted for the penultimate episode of "Naruto Shippuden." Early spoilers and predictions claimed Madara Uchiha will kick the bucket in the upcoming episode.
'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 473 Recap
"Naruto Shippuden" episode 473, which aired on Aug. 25, Thursday, saw Obito reunited with Rin in the Afterlife, where the latter informing him that she was always watching over him. However, Obito requested Rin to wait a little longer, noting that he needed to help Kakashi in the ongoing intense battle.
Using his Kamui, Obito's chakra ascended from his ashes and enveloped Kakashi's consciousness. The former then reminded the latter to not follow him to the afterlife and that he must become the Sixth Hokage. As Kakashi opened his eyes, he becomes the Kakashi of Sharingan once more.
The episode ended with Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke making physical contact with Kaguya in order to finally seal her.
'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 474 Spoilers
Early "Naruto Shippuden" episode 474 spoilers are now out in Manga Reader. It is said that the penultimate episode will start with Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki earnestly expressing gratitude toward the Team 7 for saving the world.
Dubbed "Congratulations," the next episode will follow the Sage commending Kakashi for leading the team in sealing away Kaguya. Though he denies his role, offering credit to his students, Hagoromo still applauds him as a mentor and as a friend to Obito.
The scene will then shift to Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, with the latter noting that his dreams and philosophies ceased to exist while Hashirama's lives on.
The God of Shinobi then offers Madara a chance to be comrades again, but the legendary leader of the Uchiha clan dies before being able to finish his response. It is said that Madara's death is a direct result of having both the tailed beasts and Demonic Statue removed from his body.
The penultimate episode of "Naruto Shippuden" is scheduled to air on Sept. 1, Thursday, while the finale episode will air on Sept. 8.
