Arkane Studios and Bethesda's highly anticipated title "Dishonored 2" is right around the corner, and fans cannot wait to experience the much awaited stealth role-playing game.
Taking place fifteen years after the original "Dishonored," players now have an option to choose between two different assassins in the game: Corvo Attano, the protagonist in the first game, and Emily Kaldwin, who we have met in the first game as a young princess that sparked the story of "Dishonored" into action.
Which brings us to the burning question: Which assassin should you play "Dishonored 2" with? Let's take a look at these two different characters.
Corvo Attano, Former Bodyguard Turned Assassin
Fans of the first "Dishonored" game may well be familiar with our first choice. Corvo was the main guy in the first title, and those who have played the game already knows what he is capable of and more.
In the first "Dishonored," fans can either turn Corvo into a ruthless assassin or a merciful, hopeful man, as GameSpew has put it. Either way, after a long time, fans will be able to control Corvo once again, and this alone may be a good reason to pick him over Emily.
Apart from that, players may just be curious to find out how a talking Corvo can make a difference in the game this time around. Corvo is silent in the first "Dishonored," but is now given a voice by Stephen Russell.
Emily Kaldwin, Former Empress of Dunwall
Emily is not new to the franchise, as she was one of the main elements in the first "Dishonored" game. This time, Emily is dethroned by an "otherworldly usurper," according to Polygon, and becomes an outlaw to society.
Emily follows the footsteps of his bodyguard, Corvo, and is trained to be a capable assassin as him. Players who want to have a different experience from the first game may want to give Emily a whirl, with her new abilities open for experimentation and a wider range of gameplay styles.
Of course, different players have different reasons to pick either Corvo or Emily. Some may even go all out and go through two different game saves for the two characters.
"Dishonored 2" will be launched on PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on Nov. 11.
