With the release date rumors of the MacBook Pro 2016 posted left and right, we have jotted down here all the possible specs and features of the upcoming Apple laptop. Reports claimed that the main attraction of the new MacBook Pro will include the OLED touch bar and USB Type-C port.

To start with, Forbes reported that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be slimmer and lighter compared to its predecessors. To add on to the design-related specs, the new Apple device will also consist of an OLED touch panel, which is the butterfly keyboard switch that will replace the physical function keys on the top of the keyboard.

Furthermore, reports claimed that the upcoming laptop might sport a Touch ID button with its panel. It is also stated that the MacBook Pro 2016 will also consist of a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 functionality for faster data transfers.

The new Apple laptop is also expected to feature the upcoming Kaby Lake processor, which is rumored to improve the overall performance of the device. However, other reports claimed that the Apple might continue with the existing Sky Lake processors. It will also feature AMD's latest Polaris 11 graphics silicon chips, which will make the device even thinner as compared to the earlier installment.

There are reports that the US tech giant might include the latest IGZO panels with P3 color gamut, which will provide higher resolution to the laptop. Game N Guide reported that the new device will also sport 1 TB storage capacity.

In terms of software, the MacBook Pro 2016 will run on the latest macOS Sierra, which will pave the way for the entry of the iPhone's personal voice assistant Siri to the MacBooks. It is expected to provide other features like Voice Feedback, Switch Control accessibility, and file manager.
