The latest iPad Air 3 rumors have given the impression that consumers will finally get hold of the new tablet from Apple soon.

Since 2015, fans of the American tech giant's products have been watching out for the unit's specs and final release date announcement. However, until this day, the company has never given any official word yet.

It can be recalled that the company held its World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, but contrary to the expectation of many, Apple CEO Tim Cook did not reveal anything about the highly-anticipated iPad Air 3.

According to Mac World UK, the earliest possible schedule for the company to unveil its new iPad is around mid-September, while selling of the unit may start 10 days after, which is around the last week of the said month.

This rumored release date, though, could be pushed a little later, if things would be based on the actual availability of its predecessors.

The original iPad Air was announced on Oct. 22, 2013, but was officially released in November that year, while the iPad Air 2 was unveiled on Oct. 13, 2014.

Meanwhile, with the discounts being offered by retailers for the almost two-year-old iPad Air 2, the rumors have pointed out that the release of iPad Air is already "imminent."

It was noted that those who want to avail of the second generation iPad Air can enjoy a discount of $250.

When it comes to the expected price of the upcoming Apple tablet, PC Advisor suggested that the 16GB variant will come with a price tag of $399 once released before 2016 ends.

However, this price might go down to $319, if made available in March 2017. The 32GB model, on the other hand, might sell for $399.
