Apple is about to celebrate the iPhone's tenth anniversary next year. With this, the company is expected to incorporate many new specs and features like all-glass chassis and touch sensitive panel in the upcoming iPhone 8.

According to reports, the Galaxy Note 7 consists of more great specs compared to the current iPhones, like its 4 GB RAM, Iris scanners, and much more. This is stated to be the reason behind Apple's plans to provide a major specs overhaul to the iPhone 8. News.com.au reported that Apple will be redesigning the iPhone series in order to increase their market share as compared to the Samsung Galaxy devices.

As far as the specs are concerned, Apple is expected to bring in a huge design change with all-glass chassis with an OLED display screen. Reports claimed that the new iPhone 8 will sport a curved display with higher pixel resolution and more lively colors. However, no exact specifications details are out yet.

Moreover, there are rumors that the new iPhone 8 will also consist of the Iris recognition technology along with the facial scanners for added security measure. Also, the Apple device will be powered by the latest A10 chipsets along with the upcoming iOS 10 operating system. It is also rumored that the handsets will consist of the provision of wireless charging.

Furthermore, there are reports that the new device from Apple will sport few features similar to that of the iPhone 7 like the touch-sensitive panel and a lightening Smart Connector port.

Meanwhile, according to the Canalys analyst Rushabh Doshi, the new iPhone 8 will also feature of many hardware changes in addition to the new software specs.

"We expect Apple to focus strongly on service innovation," said Doshi, as reported by BGR. "Artificial Intelligence would take center stage in the coming years as the smart phone becomes a true assistant to the users. The recent acquisition of Turi continues to underline the importance of AI for Apple."
