Next on our "Pokémon GO" guide, we will tackle some of the uncommonly spotted and normally overlooked Pokémon in the game. Here's how to make nabbing them easier.

How To Catch Jynx

The human-like Pokémon Jynx is one of the commonly overlooked monsters in the game. The Ice/Psychic type monster Jynx has a decent base attack and is strong against fighting, poison, grass, ground, flying and dragon type Pokémon.

Since Jynx is a psychic Pokémon, the chances of spawning at night is higher compared to the rest of the day. Psychic types are also reported to spawn near hospitals.

Jynx is also an ice-type, and just like water types, it has a probability of spawning near bodies of water as in colder areas such as ski resorts.

The psychic-ice type can also be obtained by hatching a 10km egg.

How To Catch Magmar

Another commonly snubbed Pokémon in the game is fire-type Pokémon Magmar. The fiery Pokémon boasts one of the highest base attacks amongst fire-type Pokémon.

This powerful monster, like all other fire-type Pokémon in the game, can be found mostly in places with higher temperatures and warmer climate. It can also be found in residential areas and cities, albeit with a lower spawn rate.

If finding Magmar in the wild is difficult for you, don't fret. Like Jynx, Magmar can also be hatched from a 10km egg.

How To Catch Weezing

Finally, we will talk about one of the most popular Pokémon in the game, Weezing. The poison-type Pokémon was made popular in the "Pokémon" TV series and is owned by James of Team Rocket .

Now you can be like James and get your own Weezing in "Pokémon GO." According to Rankedboost, poison-type Pokémon can be commonly found in marshes and wetlands, and sometimes around industrial areas.

Alternatively, you can obtain a Weezing by catching a Koffing instead and evolving it. Koffing is also a poison-type Pokémon and can be found in the areas mentioned above, but the easiest way is to catch the critter from a 5km egg.

Koffing needs 50 Koffing Candy to evolve into its more powerful evolution, Weezing.
