Next on our 'Pokémon GO" guide, we will discuss how to nab your very own cute fairy-type Pokémon Clefairy.

How To Catch A Clefairy

Clefairy, arguably one of the cutest critter in the "Pokémon" universe, is a fairy-type Pokémon, and according to Rankedboost, Fairy-type Pokémon can be found in places of interests and landmarks.

Some people also reported that Fairy-type Pokémon spawn in cemeteries and churches.

People also noticed that Clefairy is more commonly spotted in these locations at night, so be ready to go out night hunting with your friends.Remember not to do it alone though, as it is very risky and dangerous.

Clefairy is also available in 2KM eggs, so load up that incubator and get hatching.

Clefairy During Full Moon?

There are rumors that Clefairy's spawn rate increases significantly during a full moon. This was probably inspired by one of the early episodes from the original "Pokémon" TV show, "Clefairy and the Moon Stone." Check it out below.

So far, only a handful of Pokétrainers have confirmed that the rumors are true. However, this might also just be a mere coincidence, as some players were able to catch Clefairy even without a full moon.

It would be pretty cool if this speculation is true, and is another nod to the TV series, apart from the Eevee Brothers. This means someone in Niantic Labs is doing their homework.

Evolving Clefairy To Clefable

Instead of letting Clefairy hold a Moon Stone, like in the TV show and other "Pokémon" games, this cute monster can be evolved into its slightly powered up evolution, Clefable, using candies.

For Clefable, you need 50 Clefairy Candies to evolve.

Other Fairy Types

Apart from Clefairy and Clefable, other fairy-types in the game so far are Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff, who are both Fairy/Normal types, and Mr. Mime, who is a Fairy/Psychic type.
