Ubisoft's next highly anticipated open-world title "Watch Dogs 2" will introduce a fresh batch of characters.
The new "Watch Dogs" title will include a new protagonist and other new faces in the hacking collective Dedsec to help the players through their hacking romp across the San Francisco Bay area.
Let's take a closer look at some of the new characters in "Watch Dogs 2."
The Protagonist: Marcus Holloway
Our new hero, Marcus Holloway, moved to Oakland at a young age, and it was a tough experience for him and his family. He was wrongfully accused of being a suspect in a crime he did not commit, hence setting his motive against the the suppressing security system.
His excellent hacking skills caught the attention of hacking group Dedsec, who Marcus have only heard of in internet chat rooms. Dedsec took him in, and he now has to prove that he is worthy of being in the group.
The Anarchist: The Wrench
Wrench is an adrenaline junkie and is always found out and about, wreaking havoc across San Fran. He wears a high-tech LED mask which displays a wide array of emoticons, and few people have seen his real face.
He was nicknamed "The Wrench" due to his reckless nature, a wrench that somebody throws into gears to mess it up and grind them to a halt.
His fearless and explosive attitude, while commendable at times, may put Dedsec at risk in the future. In the meantime, Wrench is having the time of his life.
The Artist: Sitara
Sitara is Dedsec's resident artist, and is responsible for all the artistic logos and designs for Dedsec, which can be found on this Tumblr account.
Moving from Los Angeles to San Francisco, self-taught hacker Sitara joined Dedsec to unleash her artistic rebellion against the soulless system.
Sitara will serve as the "devil on the shoulder" type of council for the player, as she wants Dedsec to be a group that people will be afraid of, which does not sit well with the rest of the crew. Like Marcus, Sitara is passionate about the future of Dedsec.
The Genius Hacker: Josh
Probably the least known character in "Watch Dogs 2," Josh is described as a genius hacker, and can break through even the toughest security systems.
Josh is socially awkward, and prefers to stay in the background and lend support to Marcus while he's out and about.
"Watch Dogs 2" is set for launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15.
