Leaked images point towards the rumoured "Fireball" device for Verizon, which will launch with Ice Cream Sandwich. The device will include LTE. What could it be?

The device is the HTC Incredible 4G, which has been rumoured but not officially revealed. The images surfaced as the two-year anniversary of the original Droid Incredible - April 29, 2010 - approaches, with the device rumoured to be called the Droid Incredible 4G (previously codenamed Fireball).

The Incredible 4G will be the second device for Verizon launching with Ice Cream Sandwich and LTE, with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus being the first.

Among the unconfirmed specs are a four-inch display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor - which could be the S4 -, 1GB of RAM and a qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display. Other unconfirmed specs are Android 4.0 with Sense skin and 8-megapixel camera on the back. That wouldn't put the device in direct opposition with devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which has a Super AMOLED Display, but would put it firmly as a mid-range device.

Android Police published the images and said the device was "very light," with features such as a raised power button and gunmetal sides. The device features three capacitive buttons, not the customary four, below the display. With Ice Cream Sandwich moving towards buttonless inputs, it will be interesting to see devices still using capacitive buttons.

While there is no confirmed price, Android Police's tipster said the device could launch between $99 and $149 on a two-year deal. That would be cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which retails for $300.

There were also benchmark tests discovered last month, where the device was called model number ADR6410LVW, a number that's been associated with the Fireball, and showed the device as for Verizon. The benchmarks also showed a 1.2 GHz processor with a Qualcomm Adreno 225 GPU. The 225 is featured in S4 Krait Snapdragon chips, which is used in HTC's One series.

Previous leaks suggested the device could launch April 28, and will be called the HTC Incredible 3 4G.
