Our next "Pokémon GO" guide will be about more rare Pokémon. Here's how and where to get Scyther, Pinsir, and Electabuzz and add them to your growing monster collection in the game.

How To Catch Scyther

Scyther, a Bug/Flying Pokémon, is a pretty strong monster to add to your Pokémon arsenal. The mantis-like Pokémon is also a grass-type Pokémon, so the little critter can be found in grassy areas like parks, golf courses, meadows, gardens and open fields.

Some has also spotted Scyther in rural towns and cities, but the instances are very rare. If you're having difficulties spotting a Scyther in your area, your best bet is hatching a 10KM egg.

Also, Scyther does not have any evolved forms, so get one Scyther and you're good to go, no candies required.

How To Catch Pinsir

Like Scyther, Pinsir is a Bug-type Pokémon. As such, this beetle-like Pokémon can also be found in grassy areas like parks and fields. Pokéstops with Lure Modules will also increase the chances of meeting this Pokémon.

Pinsir is not just a rare find, it is also pretty hard to catch. Use the necessary items to nab this bug, including Razz Berries and a lot of Pokéballs.

Pinsir can also be obtained by hatching a 10KM egg.

How To Catch Electabuzz

Electric-type Pokémon are always a welcome addition to your Pokémon collection, and is a great counter for most Water-type Pokémon. Electabuzz is no exception.

This cat-like Pokémon can be found virtually anywhere in cities, although according to Rankedboost, Electric-type Pokémon are commonly spotted around industrial park, universities and school campuses.

As mentioned above, Electabuzz can be nabbed using Razz Berries and tons of Pokéballs. If that does not work, or if you simply cannot find one in your area, hatch a 10KM egg and hope for the best.
