The visual game video game "Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" will come with free episodes from the first season of the anime.

In a post on the Playstation Blog, NIS America's Associate Product Marketing Manager Chris King reveals that the game will include the first two episodes of "Psycho-Pass" Season one.

The two episodes, "Crime Coefficient" and "Those Capable," will be English subbed and will be redeemable via PSN.

The free episodes were meant to entice people who are new to the "Psycho-Pass" universe, and as a primer for the main game.

NIS also revealed the antagonist of "Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness."

"A hacker who goes by the name Alpha, is brand-new to the Psycho-Pass universe and holds a simple, innocent objective - to make people happy," King wrote on the blog.

"However, with his naive, adolescent mindset, Alpha does not understand that one person's happiness could equate to another person's sorrow, suffering, or even worse."

This leads to a clash between Alpha and the Criminal Investigation Department.

Alpha targets emotionally unstable people with Crime Coefficients below the Dominator's "Lethal Eliminator" mode, all the while thinking that he is there to save them.

The first case was also mentioned on the blog, which involves a missing girl.

Apart from Alpha, the game also introduces new characters, new MWPSB Criminal Investigation Department Inspector Nadeshiko Kugatachi and Enforcer Takuma Tsurugi.

Familiar faces from the popular anime will also make an appearance in the game, including lead protagonists Shinya Kogami and Akane Tsunemori.

Other members of the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division, Nobuchika Ginoza, Tomomi Masaoka, Shusei Kagari, Yayoi Kunizuka and Shion Karanomori will also be featured.

The game is originally released on the Xbox One on May 28, 2015 in Japan. Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita ports were released in Japan earlier this year.

"Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" will be out in the West on the PS4 and PS Vita on September 13.
