Latest specs rumors about the upcoming Samsung flagship device Galaxy S8 hinted that it will sport enhanced Snapdragon processor along with other exciting features like VR compatibility, 4K display.

GMS Arena reported that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will consist of the upgraded Snapdragon 830 chipset as it will be made available with higher resolution 5.5-inch screen. It is also rumored that the device might also be made available with an Exynos chipset, with a 4K UHD display and 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 phone will feature the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, reported Neuro Gadget. The new OS will reportedly equip the smartphone with Google's new VR platform, Daydream.

However, it is reported that the South Korean tech giant is currently working on a new standalone VR headset called the Odyssey, which might also be seen in the new Galaxy S8 phones. Samsung has reportedly invested heavily on the VR content, which will be made available to the users via the Oculus Store.

Also, the Galaxy S8 device will sport Polaris graphics card of 150W manufactured by AMD and NVIDIA, which are expected to be suitable for the smartphones.The smartphone will also reportedly feature a USB Type-C port for reversible, fast charging and quicker data transfers.

Meanwhile, Know Your Mobile stated that Samsung will unveil five flagship devices at the start of 2017, namely the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 EDGE, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy Note 8 EDGE, and the Galaxy X, which is codenamed as Project Valley and rumored to be a flexible device.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be released at the Mobile World Congress event in February 2017.
