HTC One S - a stripped down version of the quad-core beast HTC One X is hitting American shores this month. The device will be released on T-Mobile network on April 25.

However, this is not an official release date. The date appears on a leaked confidential document received by TMO News. The leaked release date looks reliable as rumor world also indicates that HTC One S will release in U.S. in last week of April.

The Web site also predicted this date in the past. Now they are backing up its prediction with photo evidences. The leaked document also indicates that T-Mobile has started training its employees prior to the release of HTC One S. The document includes snapshots of training documents for T-Mobile employees. If the leaked document is to be believed then the final pricing and availability of the new T-Mobile smartphone will be announced officially on April 16.

After the release, HTC One S is going to be the first Android OS 4.0 device from T-Mobile. Currently T-Mobile does not have any Ice Cream Sandwich flavored candy in its stock. The new flavor will undoubtedly attract users.

HTC One S features 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution. The device packs dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and Adreno 225 GPU. The device has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone also packs 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash support. The camera records 1080p videos at 30fps. It also has front facing VGA camera.

The device runs Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Sense UI. HTC Sense UI v4.0 includes various improvements over the previous version like Beats Audio integration and enhanced photo and video capabilities.

Looking at the specs, HTC One S will be best suitable for photography, multimedia and gaming, besides of course, taking calls.
