The Samsung Gear S3 is expected to consist of improvised design and features compared to its predecessors. Reports claimed that the wearable will have a stylish design with enhanced specs, leading to be the company's most premium smartwatch up to date.
Android Headlines reported that the Samsung Gear S3 will be made available with a metallic chassis in the form of a wristband. It is also expected to feature a built-in GPS for additional tracking capabilities.
Moreover, the Gear S3 is assumed to be powered by Samsung's Tizen OS, which will offer better battery efficiency than most of the Android wearables. The operating system is also expected to improve the smartwatch's performance, reported Mobile Choice. Reports claimed that the Samsung wearable will have an improvised user interface. It will also sport Samsung Pay option similar to the Gear S2.
The Gear S3 smartwatch from Samsung is rumored to be codenamed as Solis and is expected to be made available in five different variants, namely SM-R760, SM-R765, SM-R770, SM-R768V, and SM-R765S with 3G compatibility.
Apart from the smartwatch, Trusted Reviews reported that the South Korean manufacturer will also release the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Reports claimed that the S3 tablet will sport an overall enhanced set of specs.
It is reported that the tablet will be released in two variants, one having an 8-inch display and the other with a 9.7-inch screen. Both with 2048 x 1536 display resolutions and 32GB of internal storage. Reports claimed that the Galaxy Tab S3 will consist of 4000 mAh battery for an excellent battery life. Also, the tablet is expected to be released with Android 7.0 Nougat OS update.
The Samsung Gear S3 wearable is expected to launch the new smartwatch at the IFA event in Berlin, along with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 on September 1, 2016.
