Having to deal with tangled cables is never pleasant, especially when it involves the tiny, slim cords of your headphones. You may try to fold them carefully, place them in a separate pocket or even a small bag of sorts, but such cords always have a way to get all tangled up in a million knots. CordCruncher headphones bring an end to this problem.
First Tangle-Free Headphones in the World
To get rid of the tangled cord issue you may either opt for some wireless headphones, thus eliminating cords completely, or you may consider KickStarter's project: CordCruncher headphones, with an adjustable cord length, said to be the first tangle-free headphones in the world.
Once you are done using the headphones, the cord can be easily collapsed with an elastic cord sleeve and fitted in your pocket or purse, without worrying they will get all tangled up. The length of the wire is adjustable, ranging from 16 inches to 3.5 feet.
Hassle-Free Storage
"The CordCruncher Headphone literally wraps up the music experience for those who are tired of fussing over jumbled and knotted ear-bud cords," said CordCruncher president Jay Johnson. "The CordCruncher can be easily crunched after use for hassle-free storage in a gym bag, or stylishly worn as a bracelet or necklace between uses. The CordCruncher headphone is practical and fun."
No Need for Charging
The elastic sleeve that covers the cords is made of a hypo-allergenic substance, and coated in bold hues of Pearl Blue, Rocket Red or iGizmo White. The earbuds provide quality bass and treble effects for a great aural experience, while the interesting exterior allows for creative accessories while the headphones are not in use, such as wearing it like a wristband or a necklace, Johnson suggests. And unlike Bluetooth alternative, these headphones provide a tangle-free experience without the need for charging.
Available for Pre-Order
The CordCruncher headphones are available for pre-order through KickStarter, for a price of $20. They are expected to start shipping in May, provided that the project receives a full funding of $20,000 by April 20.
