The much hyped Nokia Lumia 900 released on April 8 - the Easter Sunday. After the release, the new Nokia phone is going to be the best Windows smartphone released so far. The new king of Microsoft's WP7 has received an attractive price tag of $99 on AT&T's 2-year contract terms.
AT&T was already taking pre-orders for the device. Unfortunately, many AT&T and Microsoft stores were closed on the occasion of Easter. Only a few stores were open. The phone is also available on online AT&T store.
Nokia Lumia 900 has a unique, attractive design. It features a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. The phone packs 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor with 512MB of RAM. Lumia 900 sports 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash support. Unfortunately, the Carl Zeiss camera lacks 1080p recording capability (it records 720p videos @30fps). There is also a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera in the device.
Lumia 900 is 4G compatible. Other connectivity features are Bluetooth version 2.1 with A2DP+EDR support, Stereo FM, assisted GPS, microUSB version 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage.
Windows Phones are available on all major U.S. network carriers, but Lumia 900 is the best among them. Nokia has been down on showing some innovation skills, but the firm might start as an innovator with its Lumia 900. Earlier at MWC 2012, Nokia released PureView 808, which sports a 41 megapixel rear camera.
On AT&T's expanding 4G LTE network, Lumia 900 is considered as a sales booster for the firm. Nokia Lumia 900 has received tremendous amount of pre-rating and much of spotlight for publicity. With an affordable price tag and stunning features, Lumia 900 can pour in millions of dollars into AT&T and Nokia's accounts.
