With the release of Emmys 2016 list of nominees, Beyoncé has proven that she is not only an expert at singing and dancing, but at directing as well.

The 34-year-old artist proved her directorial skills in the music video of "Lemonade."

As she got nomination for four different categories in the Emmy, did she ever feel vindicated for not making it to the 2016 BET Awards?

According to Billboard, Beyoncé's "Lemonade" has been nominated for Emmys 2016 under the categories:

1. Outstanding Production Design For A Variety, Nonfiction, Event Or Award Special (for production designer Hannah Beachler, art director Chris Britt and set decorator Kim Murphy);

2. Outstanding Directing For A Variety Special (together with director Kahlil Joseph);

3. Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming (for editor Bill Yukich); and,

4. Outstanding Variety Special.

Back in 2013, Beyoncé was nominated for her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, and two years after, she was back in the Emmys nominations list for her "On The Run" tour documentary with her husband Jay-Z.

Last month, Bustle took a closer look at "Lemonade" and why it was not included in the 2016 BET Awards.

The entertainment site noted that while the visual album is indeed remarkable, there is no way that it can be part of the said awards since there are no categories fitting for it.

For one, Beyoncé's latest project may be nominated for Video of the Year, but it is still not bound to happen since the category does not include hour-long specials

Amid this scenario, HBO announced on the same month that they were planning to submit "Lemonade" for Emmys 2016's Variety Special category, E! News dished.

Moving on to the Emmy Awards, it appeared that the network did a good job by having such decision since the video was not only nominated in the said category, but also in three more.

Following its Emmys 2016 nomination, would Beyoncé eventually try her luck at directing other masterpieces aside from her own?
