Virizon, one of the top wireless communication service providers, is currently offering a huge $300 on the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and the Motorola Droid Maxx 2 in exchange for used devices.

Android Headlines reported that Verizon's aim to provide such huge discounts is only to make more space available for recently launched Moto Z smartphones. According to company officials, customers will have to visit their retail outlet in order to avail the discount and exchange provision.

"At Verizon stores, you can receive the immediate value when you trade in your smartphone in good, working condition and apply that value immediately as a down payment toward your new smartphone," stated Verizon, as reported by Techno Buffalo. "Or you can also enjoy a Verizon account credit or gift card. Don't have the time to trade in at a store? You can also complete it online through the Verizon website here."

Verizon deals are reportedly valid on different smartphones like LG V10, Samsung Note 5, LG G4, HTC M9, Samsung Galaxy S6, iPhone 6, and Samsung S6 Edge. The Bit Bag reported that customers can also avail discounts on their Canary Home security system along with Mophie Power station Plus gadgets.

Customers can get the above-mentioned discount even if their device has a cracked screen. The catch is that they can exchange their phone only for Motorola Droid Maxx 2 or Droid Turbo 2. Meanwhile, Droid-Life stated that the Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo 2 might soon receive the latest Android 6.0. Marshmallow updates.

On the other hand, reports claimed that Verizon has pushed some updates to Motorola Droid Turbo 2. The SU1.75B: 24.14.16 update is stated to be all about fixing smartphones' charging issues. Other devices for which Verizon has provided latest updates in the form of security patches are Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5.

Other devices on which Verizon's exchange offer is valid are the LG G5, HTC 10, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7, iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus.
