With the NBA trade rumors heating up with each passing moment, few new reports have emerged stating that the Boston Celtics would prefer Philadelphia 76ers, Nerlens Noel, instead of Jahlil Okafor. These rumors are doing the rounds on the Internet as the 76ers recently stated that they would be drafting LSU's Ben Simmons in the upcoming NBA Draft 2016.
NBA reported that Celtics might assume that the Los Angeles Lakers would opt for the top no.2 pick, Brandon Ingram and so they would have only Noel and Jahlil from Philadelphia 76ers, as suitable options for the no.3 draft pick.
The Boston Celtics is reportedly looking to pick Nerlens for his good defense and rebounding skills with the ability to block shots easily. ESPN reported that Noel would serve as an advantage for the Celtics for his better adaptability skills with the position-less league.
On the other hand, Sports Illustrated reported that Celtics are also eyeing for the Milwaukee Bucks star player, Kris Middleton. The rumors hint at the possibility that Boston team might prefer Khris as he is a veteran player and better outside shooter as compared to other player options.
Apart from all the news about the possible NBA trade between Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics, NESN reported that there is a high chance that the two teams would indulge in a three-way trade with Bucks and get the players of their choice. It is being rumored that the Boston Celtics might trade the no.3 pick for Nerlens Noel and then trade Nerlens for Milwaukee Bucks' Khris.
However, the latest NBA trade rumors suggested that the Bucks are not ready to trade Khris Middleton. According to the note on Twitter, Bucks want to retain their young talent and work towards their development in the new season as against trading off their players.
As of now, all NBA fans would have to wait for Thursday, June 23 and look for which rumors actually turn out to be true during the NBA Draft 2016.
