The Macbook has been a source of several rumors since its inception. The inception of OLED touch bar, which is reportedly a part of the upcoming Macbook Pro, has caused the rumor mills to be super active.
Martin Hajek has already imagined a laptop design, which inches closer to Apple's mobile iOS devices according to The Verge.
The touch bar in Hajek's design can take over the duties of the computer's status bar or even act as a download progress indicator, a Siri visualizer or as a media control. Although the concept is still in mockup, yet it seems easily usable by Apple or any other PC manufacturers.
Notably, the keyboards of the modern laptops are generally flat, with little to negligible key travel. Thus, a touch bar, which was considered awkward in the past will now sit well with the design of the keyboard and the regular keys.
Also, since the OLED touch bar only handles the ancillary duties, it can be considered unobtrusive yet cool idea.
However, none of the above designs or concepts have been confirmed by Apple. However, looking at the simplicity of the idea, there's little reason to reject it. Thus, fans do expect to moderate the brightness of the Macbook using a touchbar.
Meanwhile, with Apple's WWDC set to start from next week, it's likely that the eager fans will have an idea of what to expect in terms of hardware and Apple devices.
