Although, there has been newer versions of "Call of Duty," the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is highly anticipated by the gaming world. The release date of DLC 3 will definitely be satisfying for some despite the rumors about the launch of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

Notably, the DLC Pack 2 titled "Eclipse" was released on May 19 for Xbox One and PC. It consisted of four new multiplayer maps -Verge, Rift, Spire and Knockout.

Following the same timeline, the next DLC might be released on June 21, 2016, according to reports from Video Games Blogger.

However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the info, as it is speculated that the game developer is busy with the launch of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare", which might be launched in Entertainment Electronic Expo 2016.

Moreover, with the E3 approaching, where Activison (the parent gaming company) will share a stage with Sony, the developers might not actually push forward the launch of the game. It might be launched alongside "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" to provide maximum exposure to both the games, reported Gotta Be Mobile.

Meanwhile, players can enjoy a map extension by playing the Zombies map, which is already available as a standalone download. However, players will need to purchase special edition of the game, or must have a season pass in order to enjoy this part of the map.

According to Activision, players might enjoy characters like Dempsey, Nikolai, Richoften, and Takeo fighting zombies, for a cost of $5.99, without any special requirements in terms of hardware.

Thus, although there has been no official announcement about the official release date of DLC 3, players can remain busy with the latest zombie maps, until the next installment.

Additionally, users will have to stay tuned to the news to have more information about either versions of the game.
