According to recent reports, the DVD will consist of music videos, a collection of unreleased photos and some behind the scene stories, reported Game and Guide.

Remarkably, the popularity of the TV series is undeniable, as it claimed the hearts of its viewers since its premiere date. Rumor has it that it will soon be back with a 16 episode sequel to make sure that the fans are happy enough.

The scriptwriter of the first series, Kim Won Seok also mentioned about the lack of possibility of the second season.

During an interview with Star News, Kim revealed that "Descendants Of The Sun," season 2, would probably not be happening. "We have no plans for season 2," Kim said.

However Kim did mention about the possible hit K - drama series "Doctors" and some behind the scene stories about the same. "Doctors" will be a SBS drama series with Park Shin Hye in a comeback role.
