With rumors rife in the air about the newest Google Nexus launch, users have also kept Android VR in mind for the Google's I/O Conference.
Notably, eager users already have an idea of what to expect from the conference, i.e., Android N, Google Nexus. Additionally, it is also rumored that Google will probably take Android in a different direction this year.
According to BGR, virtual reality is a top priority for the company and several rumors claim that a standalone VR headset might be revealed in the conference.
Although it might seem strange, yet references to Google's new VR have been found in various instances. Previously Android N code revealed some built - in options for VR support, which has been included directly in the code, 9To5Google said.
In addition to those, a number of reports have also found that Google was working on an advanced version of Cardboard, which has been working as a standalone unit.
Users who have access to the Google Play Developer Console have spotted a new tab next to Android Wear, Android TV, and Android Auto, Android Police reported.
One of the features, which make the Android VR much more exciting is the fact that the apps and games which are available on Play Store can be easily installed and experienced through the headset.
Earlier this week, it was mentioned that Android VR headset will be unveiled at Google I/O, which will definitely be "better than Gear VR but not as good as HTC Vive or Oculus Rift," according to tech entrepreneur Peter Rojas.
Although there aren't many pictures showing the latest Android VR, yet users can definitely have a look, when the new device is unveiled at the tech-con this year.
Thus, it is yet to be seen if Google will be able to take Android to a new direction, but one thing is promised - Google's newest technology will win hearts for sure.
