Fans are only counting hours before the latest version of Battlefield arrives on May 6 at 4pm ET. While the excitement fills the air, more revelation about what is dubbed as 'Battlefield 5' continues to surface on the Internet.

Rumor from a Swiss retailer alleged the game's setting s will be on World War I, as per WCCFTech. It is due to EA Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen's statement that the next version will return to its roots.

What was unexpected is that the location will be set in Vietnam. The website went on to explain that EA came up with a strategic idea to avoid competition to other FPS games except Rising Storm: Vietnam, plus the positive feedback they have received when the Vietnam expansion for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was released.

While the release date is yet to be announced, Gottabemobile speculates that it could come up either on third or fourth quarter of this year. The circumstances are possible if EA DICE will not announce a delay.

Avid Battlefield fans around the world might still be drooling because of the news, but Executive Producer of Bulkhead Interactive Joe Brammer is lucky enough to see the Battlefield 5 before its unveiling. He allegedly enticed the players by posting that he had already seen the game but the tweet was later removed.

In other news, players can go ahead and download Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline for free until May 10. This good news was part of EA DICE promotion for the upcoming new game.

They might as well extend the promotion, should their goal be successful, said Eurogamer . As if it was already enough, Polygon added that players could unlock the Gold Battlepack if they will be able to reach the aim of 2.5 million melee kills for all Battlefield 4 multiplayer mode.
