Rumors regarding the release of next generation iPhone, dubbed iPhone 5, are leaving tech suckers more excited than ever. Apparently, the iPhone 5 will contain so many mind-blowing features that it will literally shut down any possible competition in the smartphone field.

Already pictures leaked all over the Internet show an almost transparent new iPhone platform, or with a rather round and slicker appearance, but nothing has yet been confirmed. However, there are some features that iPhone 5 will most certainly be packed with. They are: a quad-core A6 processor with 1GB of RAM and 4G connectivity with NFC support. Also, in development for later version of iPads and reportedly for iPhones as well, it is the new iOS 6 with an improved version of voice personal assistant, Siri. Currently, Siri is in its beta version, but it will not be long until Apple developers come up with an improved version of the voice assistant.

In addition, the newest iPhone 5 is expected to be packed with a bigger screen and higher resolution, reaching a 4-inch or a 4.3-inch screen, probably with the edge-to-edge Retina Display.

Last, but certainly not least, Apple could equip its newest smartphone with a better battery, which will ensure a longer life of the device. Reportedly, iPhone users have been complaining about poor battery life of iPhone 4S, so expect Apple to be working on improving on this part.
