Call of Duty gamers might be excited to learn that the Infinity Ward confirmed that they will release the title for the new and improved game on May 2 at 10:30 AM PST. Catch the full details below.
The event will be streamed via Twitch, and according to Gamespot, Activision posted a new one following yesterday's teaser which was believed is for the anticipated "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare", which will be released on Nov. 4th.
More than that, the website also reported that Activision is working on a remaster of 2007's an-favorite entry Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. This year's game is said to be in development at Infinity Ward.
However, Gamespot went on to explain that the next Call of Duty may not be the only First-Person-Shooter game to be announced further. It's competitor, Electronic Arts, might unveil the next Battlefield 4 in May.
Meanwhile, Mashable reported that the people behind the game have been keeping the hype as high as they can by posting cryptic videos about the project.
One of the video, which is entitled "Infinity Ward Behind the Scenes 2016- Call of Duty Heritage", is now available in YouTube. Although did not reveal a lot about the upcoming new game, the 3 minute and 40 seconds clip had already gathered more than 59k views as of writing.
While all of the other information remains under wraps, some details have reportedly leaked on social media. According to IGN, Call of Duty official Twitter account allegedly dropped a hint by posting a poop emoji.
Going back to the video, design director Jacob Minkoff stated in that: "I want people to play our new game and say, 'Wow, I haven't seen CoD change so much since Modern Warfare,", quotes the website.
