Oppo has just announced the launching of their latest model, Oppo A33 in China where it is available in black or white color variants. It comes with a dimension of 142.7 x 71.7 x 7.6 mm or 5.62 x 2.82 x 0.30 in. The device has a body weight of 146 g or 5.15 oz. It also has a 5.0 IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display which has a 67.4% screen to body ratio. The display comes with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution and 220 ppi density.
The latest smartphone from Oppo will be running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 2.1 on a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor. Oppo's A33 will also have a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset and an Adreno 306 GPU. The device will support a dual nano or micro SIM. It will also have a 2GB RAM and an internal storage of 16GB which can be expandable through a microSD slot that can hold up to 32GB.
Oppo A33 sports an 8MP primary camera that can support 3264 x 2448 pixels. It comes complete with a 1/4" sensor size, autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama. It also has a 5MP secondary camera. The smartphone supports 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi in terms of connectivity. It has a Li-Ion 2,400 mAh battery that can last up to 250 hours on standby mode and up to 8 hours on talk time.
Oppo has not announced any other plans apart from launching the A33 or whether the phone is exclusively available in China. As of their last announcement, there is no clear indication whether they would be making an international debut. The release in China might be a test period on how the public reacts and accept it and if it will be good enough to be produced in an international scale.
