Siri, the intelligent, voice-controlled assistant exclusive to the iPhone 4S, will reportedly support Chinese language from next month.

Without doubt, this is a good news, because currently Siri can only speak English, French, and German, which is driving other language users crazy.

Citing the Chinese tech site DoNews, Tech in Asia reported that the Siri will understand and speak Chinese from March.

The source, an Apple engineer working on the Chinese-language version of Siri, also told DoNews that the intelligent assistant is undergoing internal testings.

Though there are countless dialects in China, Siri will only support the Mandarin - the most popular dialect in the mainland China. Cantonese and other local dialects will be left out for the time being.

The personal assistant is also expected to support Japanese and Russian languages from next month as well.

According to Siri FAQ, other languages, including Korean, Italian, and Spanish, are also on the way.
