The first Apple Watch customer satisfaction survey result was posted and a surprising number of owners who took part in the survey said they are satisfied with the Apple's smartwatch.

Wristly Apple Watch Owners Network provided the respondents to the survey and Ben Bajarin was the one who conducted the interviews and reviewed the respondents' feedback. He posted the results at the Techpinions website, according to Time.

Wristly is considered as the "largest independent community of Apple Watch owners" and those who participated in the survey were composed of the smartwatch's early adopters. Unexpectedly, more than half of the 800-plus early adopters were just plain keen users and not Apple investors nor tech reporters. They are not also tech insiders and developers, according to the bar chart that Wristly released.

The community of Apple Watch owners asked its members to weekly provide answers to Bajarin's five questions and in return, the respondents will receive weekly reports containing the rating or feedback regarding the use of the Apple's smartwatch.

As a result of last week's survey, it was revealed that 97 percent chose either they are somewhat satisfied or very satisfied with Apple's smartwatch. The outcome of the survey exceeded expectations as the percentile was extraordinarily high.

However, the latest iPhone product scored higher compared to the Apple Watch with a 99-percent customer satisfaction rating. Other Apple products also reached the 90-plus mark ratings. For example, the first iPad reached 91 percent, while the original iPhone had a 92 percent customer satisfaction rating.

Despite the negative feedback from the press and mixed product reviews from users and tech critics, the smartwatch got an unbelievable high rating. Bajarin mentioned last July 10 in a Techpinions podcast that he learned a lot about the Apple Watch market while monitoring the survey's respondents, according to Fortune.

He explained that he saw the pattern of those who participated in the survey. The early adopters who are involved in the technology industry are "more critical" and they tend to evaluate the product by checking every angle of the Apple Watch. On the other hand, majority of the early adopters who are not techies, those who do not have any idea with how the technology works and with jobs not related to the tech industry like teachers and firefighters are showering the product with praises and appreciation.

Bajarin concluded that the people with lesser knowledge and involvement with technology or its industry will most likely appreciate the Apple Watch. It seems that the Apple smartwatch only got a high customer satisfaction rating because most of the respondents have no background in technology.
