ASUS has just unveiled thin and portable new devices as part of its popular Transformer Book series, announcing the exciting Chi trio of hybrid tablets.
All three models in the new ASUS Transformer Book Chi series are 2-in-1 devices that run Microsoft's Windows on the software side, and pack Intel's Core M processors under the hood.
"ASUS today announced Transformer Book Chi Series, a family of beautifully-engineered, razor-thin 2-in-1 Windows detachables, offering the unrivalled convenience of a powerful laptop that transforms seamlessly into a handy tablet whenever needed," the company touted in a press release on Tuesday, Jan. 6. "Transformer Book Chi is fast but silent, featuring a fanless design powered by up to Intel Core M processors, for amazing performance that gives users the freedom to work and play with effortless mobility - anywhere, anytime."

The highest-end model in the new ASUS Transformer Book Chi is the T300, which sports a 12.5-inch display and packs an Intel Core M processor under the hood. One of the highlights of this device is the impressively thin profile it boasts, measuring just 1.65cm when docked. The T300 Chi also received the 2015 CES Innovation Award.
The Transformer Book T100 Chi, meanwhile, comes with a 10.1-inch display and a thin profile of just 7.2mm. According to ASUS, the T100 is the world's thinnest Windows tablet of its size. Moreover, the T100 promises to deliver a long battery life that will last all day on a single charge.
Lastly, rounding up the trio of new ASUS Transformer Book Chi Series is the T90, which reportedly comes as the world's thinnest 8.9-inch tablet at just 7.5mm in thickness.
All three models in this new Chi series feature IPS displays with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a 127ppi pixel density. The three devices also come with detachable keyboards that connect via Bluetooth and are able to control the paired tablet from up to 20 meters away.
ASUS has yet to offer exact pricing and availability details for its new Transformer Book Chi Series, but is expected to provide additional information shortly.
