Staples is now offering the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 for $99 after signing a new two-year contract. According to the Staples website and the screenshot in this article, this offer expires 08/31/2030, so you've got some time to make a decision. It probably won't take you too long, considering that the Samsung Galaxy S3 remains the best Android smartphone on the market; some might consider it the best smartphone period. Its specs and features keep the smartphone on top of many lists.
The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 features a gorgeous 4.8-inch 306ppi (pixels per inch) 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED Plus HD display, Android 4.0 (upgradable to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean), 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera with zero shutter lag and LED Flash, 1.9-megapixel front camera, 1080p HD video capture (rear camera), 720p HD video capture (front-facing camera), 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (near field communications), microSD slot with support for up to 64GB microSD cards and a 2,100 mAh removable battery.
While the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it is upgradable to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, and it will also be getting Android 4.1.2 very soon, along with Samsung's Galaxy S3 Premium Suite Upgrade. The Premium Suite Upgrade includes some pretty cool features, such as multi-window functionality (enabling users to separate their screens into two windows to use two apps at once), a new customizable notifications panel, smart rotation and new NFC and reader features. Other features of the suite include contextual menus that automatically adjust based on a user's previous and most frequent actions. Users can also have the ability to set up a music program to launch immediately when a user plugs in headphones. New tagging features are in the camera application and an optional notifications ticker is available from the lock screen. It's these kind of Samsung specific features that continue to make the Galaxy family of smartphones the most popular in the world.
This deal is only available in Staples retail stores and you might want to call the store before that expiration date of 8/31/2030.
