The upcoming smartphone from Apple is slowly reaching the date of its actual arrival, but until the big day comes rumors will keep Apple fans entertained.
To bring the latest one in the iPhone rumor lot, a leaked picture has shown an A7 chipset allegedly being used in the upcoming iPhone.
The new photograph shows Apple's A7 quad-core processor with other components. If the image posted by iOSDoc is real as the Web site says because it is released by its "trusted sources", the upcoming iPhone is going to be more powerful and faster.
The A7 processor is said to be faster than earlier A6 processor. While A6 is a dual core chip, A7 is quad-core.
The report also gives a big hope saying that iPhone 6 will be faster than its predecessor as it is going to come with 2 GB RAM instead of 1 GB like of iPhone 5's.
Linking this new report to earlier rumors indicates towards the chipset belonging to iPhone 5S not to iPhone 6.
Earlier reports had suggested that Apple is going to release two iPhones this year. The company is rumored to be coming up with a low-cost iPhone first and later in the year it will release iPhone 5S which will be somehow similar to iPhone 5.
The size of the chipset also suggests that the iPhone it belongs to is not very different from iPhone 5, as far as design and size are concerned.
Going deeper in the phone's hardware, the report says that the new device will lure people with gaming habits as it is going to come with the same PowerVR quad-core SGX554MP4 graphics processor found within the existing iPad 4.
However, heavy processor and graphics units will hamper the battery life of the phone.
When it comes to the operating system of iOS for Apple, iPhone 5S is said to be coming with iOS 7. iOS 7 is expected to solve many issues found with iOS 6 and at the same time to come up with improved quality of Siri features and other features of the phone.
