U.S. carrier T-Mobile released its Galaxy Note 2 tablet on Oct. 24 and per reports, is on track to add to its Galaxy line-up of devices from Samsung. According to reports, the carrier has confirmed that it will release the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet in the "coming weeks."
T-Mobile did not disclose the exact date or pricing details for the tablet, but opined that "more information regarding price and availability for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available in the coming weeks."

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 sports a 10-inch WXGA PLS TFT display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the tablet packs in a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The tablet will be available in either 16GB or 32GB models and has 1GB of RAM. The tablet will also have an expandable memory option of and additional 32GB thanks to the microSD card slot.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device packs in a 7000mAh battery and features a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera and VGA quality front-facing snapper. Moreover, in addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, the T-Mobile version of the tablet will have support for the HSPA+ 42 network.
Speculation is rife that T-Mobile will release the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet as early as Nov. 7. Currently, the carrier offers the Galaxy Tab 10.1 for $449.99 (after a $50 mail-in rebate). It remains so be seen what the price for the latest Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be and if the tablet can help fuel T-Mobile's sales.
