Prior to the gastric bypass surgery, Mama June admitted that she was scared and even called the procedure the scariest thing she has ever done in her life. She even said that she could die from the operation.

Mama June also said that she is not one who lets go of control easily and going under the knife would mean letting go of all control. She even said that she could die from it.

The operation were all going as planned but it turned south when Mama June began to bleed. Before the scary turn of events that was captured on "Mama June: From Not to Hot," the surgeon explained how the operation works.

Despite the momentary scare, Mama June's surgery was a success. This does not, however, mean that Honey Boo Boo's Mom is already okay. Another exclusive shot from "Mama June: From not to Hot" shows the 37-year old mom of four one day after the operation.

According to reports, Mama June now wears size four. Before the TV show, she previously weighs 460 pounds. Mama June's trainer in the "Mama June: From Hot to Not," Kenya Crooks, discussed her new found confidence in an interview with ET. The interview also included Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin.
