Unlike Max Black's mother, who is often mentioned in the show but never seen, it looks like viewers will finally lay their eyes on her father in "And the Dad Day Afternoon." Will Max and Caroline Channing finally meet her father in the eighteenth episode of "2 Broke Girls" Season 6? According to TV.com, the synopsis for "And the Dad Day Afternoon" reads, "Han's new therapist suggests that Max needs to confront her "daddy issues" and fear of intimacy, so she reluctantly heads to Rhode Island to track down her birth father with the diner gang in tow. Meanwhile, Oleg gets upset when Sophie asks him to help out around the house."

The main cast for the eighteenth episode of "2 Broke Girls" Season 6 includes Kat Dennings as Max Black, Beth Behrs as Caroline Channing, Matthew Moy as Han Lee, and Garrett Morris as Earl. Jonathan Kite also returns as Oleg and Jennifer Coolidge portrays Sophie.

Meanwhile, in episode 16, titled "And the Jessica Shmessica," Caroline finally met Bobby's family, per Hidden Remote. While the previous episode's plot was a cliché typically used in sitcoms, it usually reveals what the significant other is like when they have to deal with the family of their loved ones.

As seen on various shows, "one of the families is either an endearing hot mess or suspiciously perfect. Meanwhile, the other is unwelcoming and hard to please-namely the hyper-protective mother." While Bobby's father has recently passed away, his mother and sisters seem to be more affected by the loss of his ex-girlfriend Jessica.

Bobby's family loved everything about Jessica, such as her "A+ marinara." Caroline has her hands full when the diner family accompanies her when Bobby introduces her to his family. The ex-heiress loves her new boyfriend, but she can't stay at his place because he lives with his family.

When Bobby invites both Max and Caroline over to meet his family, the whole diner gang assumes the invitation extends to them, leaving Caroline at a loss with what to do with the added guests. She even tries to lie to Sophie and Oleg, but the couple is too excited for the party.

Max is amazed at Bobby's house, and she wonders at everything she sees as if they lived in a palace instead of an ordinary-looking house. Bobby's mother is skeptical of Caroline, and even his sister Chrissy won't leave her room. Caroline even stoops to exploiting Denise's crush on Han.

Caroline tries to make Chrissy warm up to her by bringing her food in her room, but the former accidentally breaks a framed photo of Jessica. Sophie unintentionally comes to the rescue when she reveals that Bobby occasionally stays over at Caroline's. Despite the fact that Bobby and Caroline are old enough to decide where they want to spend the night, Denise is shocked.

Bobby then makes his family realize that this is his relationship and that his family also needs to move on from Jessica. Denise then welcomes Caroline as Bobby's girlfriend.
