Acclaimed developer Square Enix has recently shown the official trailer for "Final Fantasy 14" Stormblood expansion at the FanFest keynote. The teaser has apparently fuel the excitement of fans for the game's next chapter of adventure as it teases the all new job of a Samurai.
The new Stormblood expansion for "Final Fantasy 14" will unlock the Samurai class at level 50, using a kata and monk armor. This class is granted with a triple sword techniques namely, flower, moon and snow.
The Samurai will now unite with the Red Mage, which was earlier added to the game. The Red Mage is an iconic job that can connect both the white and black magic.
Moreover, "Final Fantasy 14" Stormblood expansion will allow gamers to explore the Garlean city of Ala Mihgo. But not only that, it will also introduce the players to an wholly new continent, Yanxia, which can be found outside the borders of the Garlemald Empire, Game Debate reported.
What's more to know is that in Stormblood, the level up is increased to 70. It also brings changes to the battle system and includes swimming as well as diving for underwater discovery.
Meanwhile, most recent reports indicate that the game developer might have plans to launch its popular MMORPG to the soon-to-be released Nintendo Switch. This good news to Nintendo fans came out straight from the game's Fan Festival held in Frankfurt, Germany a few days, as per The Sixth Axis.
It appears that following the negotation of its release on Xbox One in the past months, the company is eyeing to bring the game to the hybrid console. One of the game producers, Naoki Yoshida, mentioned the goals of the team to extend the title to other platforms provided that all versions of the game can cater the cross-platform play.
"Final Fantasy 14" was first released on PC, PS4 and PS3 in 2013. Its upcoming Stormblood expansion will arrive on June 30.
