"Rick and Morty" Season 3 release date announcement is believed to be coming soon, as a new report claims that the voice cast has already begun production for the new season. As more and more fans are becoming impatient over the show's return on TV, Adult Swim recently released an "exclusive" clip for the show's opening scene for the third season.
The "Rick and Morty" Season 3 release date remains a mystery, as Adult Swim has not yet officially announced the show's return on air with new episodes. However, many fans are expecting to view new episodes of the series soon, as a recent report from CBR suggests that voice work for the upcoming season has begun.
The said report shows a post from writer Mike McMahan on Twitter, which reveals that recording for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has already begun. This has seemingly lifted hopes among viewers that the upcoming season will be done anytime soon now that the voice cast has already begun production.
However, the said "Rick and Morty" Season 3 update from McMahan was posted a year ago, which means that the voice cast may have simply begun production last year and there are other reasons behind the delay in the premiere. As Dan Harmon stated in a previous interview with IndieWire, the show's release date is taking a bit too long to write.
"What I will tell you is it's late because of us, it's late because of me," he explained.
Some fans are already becoming impatient waiting for the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 release on Adult Swim. For this reason, the network decided to Rickroll fans by releasing a said "exclusive" clip on the Season 3 opening teaser.
While fans were excited to view the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 opening teaser, many fans were disappointed to see that it was simply a collection of videos from the previous seasons. This, however, was taken as an indication that the network will soon come out with good news for viewers.
