There's a new Resident Evil 6 demo coming to XBL and PSN, one that is expected to be quite different from the one that came with Dragons Dogma. There are many gamers out there who are still on the fence on whether to purchase Resident Evil 6 or not. Capcom is hoping this new demo of the game will bring them over to the dark side of the force.
The demo will be launched on September 18 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. There is no word of a PC version. However, there might not be one so PC gamers might not want to hold their breath for this to happen.
Here is a description released by Capcom on what gamers should expect to see in the demo:
Play as either Leon S. Kennedy or Helena Harper and further explore the dark corridors and moonlit ground of Ivy University, swarming withe the victims of the latest bioterrorist attack.
The action in Jake's switches to the neon-lit streets of Lanshiang as he and sherry Berkin fight off the J'avo, including their fully mutated forms. Be sure to check out Jake's special hand-to-hand combat moves and Sherry's stun baton as you struggle to say alive.
Showcasing "Resident Evil 6's" global setting, Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans head with fellow BSAA team members to the war-ravaged streets of Edonia. The amassed J'Avo forces provide a stiff enough challenge, but that's before the three story hihg B.O.w. Ogroman crashes the party. Select Piers for a slightly different weapon loadouts then Chris including a sniper rifle with thermal scope.
Resident evil 6 is slated for release on October 2, 2012 for Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The PC version will be released on a later date.
