Since the release of the beta version of the first-person shooter multiplayer game "Overwatch," the game developers have rolled out several character upgrades. For instance, offence character Bastion had a few adjustments in its model. There were also reported upgrades on Mercy and D.Va. And, now the tank characters, Roadhog and Winston, are seemingly getting their own modifications as well.
"Overwatch" Tank Characters Modifications:
According to "Overwatch" chief game designer, Geoff Goodman, there is a new build arriving soon that will test out some new upgrades in Winston and Roadhog. Goodman, who reported this in a Battlenet blog post, said that Roadhog is likely to have its scrap gun spread decreased by 20 per cent.
Additionally, the "Overwatch" tank characters upgrade will let Roadhog target with his hook from 3.5 meters away (instead of 2 meters). On top of that, the Chain Hook will cool down in eight seconds instead of six. Other changes coming up in his combat system will involve a drop of 15 per cent in Winston's critical hit volume.
Goodman further stated that the new change in Roadhog's combat system will let it have a more effective gun when the hook is not used. But, his hook's power will be decreased in this new update. He further noted that Winston's head hit volume was seemingly too big which led him to take more damage than what he normally should. Goodman concluded his statement by saying that these "Overwatch" tank character upgrades will help the characters be in line with others.
For those who want to witness these changes in the game, can check them out live at "Overwatch" PTR. Let us know whether these changes are any good for the game? Will it bring more powerful gameplay for Roadhog and Winston? Stay tuned for more updates on "Overwatch."
