Despite a previous announcement that said episode 14 of "Madam Secretary's" third season would air early in February, it appears that the latest episode of the show will be airing later than expected. Fans of the political drama will have to wait a little longer until episode 14 airs on the small screen.

According to CarterMatt, the Futon Critic has revealed that "Madam Secretary" will "be off the air on CBS" until Sunday, March 5. This isn't the first time that the show featuring Téa Leoni as Dr. Elizabeth "Bess" Adams McCord, the United States Secretary of State, has taken time off during the month of February. In 2015, no new episodes of "Madame Secretary" aired on the same month.

During the month of February, viewers could instead be tuned in to "the Super Bowl, the Grammys, and the Oscars." The move does seem to make sense as airing new episodes of "Madam Secretary" in the same month as these events could only "hurt its ratings."

The delay in the airing of episodes for the show's third season means that it will be a little harder to predict what will happen next on "Madam Secretary." However, this is good news for fans of the show because it might mean that President Conrad Dalton's (played by Keith Carradine) legitimacy in office won't be challenged.

The upcoming episodes of "Madam Secretary" could now focus on Elizabeth's duties while "tackling some complicated issues that have grave importance to the entire world." It's a heavy burden, but it's one that Elizabeth "seems constantly ready and eager to tackle."

Hopefully, within the next two weeks, CBS will soon release the full synopsis for episode 14 of "Madam Secretary's" third season. In other news, Ecumenical News has revealed that the latest episode of the political drama will allegedly air on Feb. 15 in the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, episode 14 of "Madam Secretary" will reportedly air on Feb. 26 in America.
