Ubisoft has assured fans that "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open beta will be made available before launch, sometime in the coming weeks. No date has been revealed yet. Recently, Ubisoft also allowed some players to try the closed beta that ran earlier this month. Those who could not enjoy the closed beta can now go for the open beta. Ubisoft, during an earnings call in November 2016, had mentioned about the "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open beta but never mentioned the release time frame.

According to Game Spot, even though the exact timing is yet to be revealed, it's definitely coming out before March 7 as "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" releases on that date for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. If players have gone through the game's map, they would know that "Wildlands" has the largest open world Ubisoft ever made. "For Honor" also had an open beta prior to its launch and if "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open beta is anything like "For Honor," it can be released a week or two prior to launch.

"For Honor" is set to launch on Feb. 14 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. However, Ubisoft has already revealed the beta start times and pre-load guide ahead of the launch. The studio has confirmed that the start times won't vary but begin in unison. Thus, gamers won't have to wait around on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The "For Honor" Open Beta commences on Feb. 9 at 9 a.m. EST and will continue till Feb. 12, 5 p.m. EST. The Open Beta will be available to all living in supported countries on Xbox One, PS4, UPLAY and Steam.

While it is not known what the "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open beta will have, players do expect more content, a final call on the Itacua region and Ubisoft to address complaints that came up during the closed beta, writes Gaming Bolt.
