Technophiles who are wondering when the Moto G5 Plus will be released could soon receive an answer. Based on reports floating around the internet, the Moto G and Moto G5 Plus will make an appearance at Mobile Word Congress 2017.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved the Moto G5 Plus, and the smartphone could soon come to the market, per SocPedia. Thanks to leaks from a Brazilian e-com website, several "details about the features of the device" have been revealed. The Moto G Plus will have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The device will be available in color gray and gold, and it will have a 3000mAh battery with a turbocharging feature.

According to the FCC document, the Moto G5 Plus will be 2.9 inches by 5.9 inches. The device will have a 5.5 inch full HD screen, and it will come with the latest Android 7 out of the box. The Moto G5 Plus will also be NFC compatible.

The upcoming smartphone will run on a Snapdragon 625 processor that is clocked at the speed of 2.0 gigahertz. As for its price, the Moto G5 model could cost at least USD$ 348, and the Moto G5 plus will cost at least USD$ 471. Do take note that the prices listed are still subject to change.

Both the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus will allegedly be unveiled on Feb. 26 at the company's press event. It is possible that both phones will also soon be available in the US market since the FCC has approved both devices. The phones might also be available worldwide world soon. After the success of the Moto G4 and G4 Plus, the company is determined to have an impressive sales record for the Moto GV and the Moto G5 Plus.

In other news, IBTimes revealed that the Moto G5 Plus will still come with a "microUSB port for charging/data transfers instead of USB Type-C. While Lenovo "hasn't officially announced the Moto G5 Plus yet," a seller from a Romanian website said that the smartphone will be "out by March 2017."
